OPERATIONAL MANUAL

First of all adjust the tool as per your strap thickness & width. To set up the unit according to the width of the used strap, please control that on the place of front & back plates screw 67 with necessary quantity of washer (For 13 mm-2 nos./16 mm-1 no. & 19 mm-none) are set. To enlarge or lessen the clearance between the Tensioning wheel 24 & toothed plate 23, loosen screw 73 under the bolt & tight set screw 39. Now set up the tool on horizontal of the item being packed with its lever inverted to you. Wind the strap around the packing item (Strap from dispenser should be in upper position). Putting your right hand on sealing lever, lift Rocker lever up against the stop. By left hand, introduce the both end of the strap into formed opening against flat heads of screws serving as front & rear strap guide. Lower Rocker lever gown so that screw serving as a side strap guide contacts the end of the introduced strap with flat part of the head.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Only trained personnel should operate SLU-2. Wear Gloves, Safety shoe, Helmet & Goggle before starting operation. Keep fingers away from areas that can pinch or cut. These areas are primarily located at the bottom of the tool. Only use equipment recommended for the strap. SLU-2 is recommended only for : Strap Thickness : For strapping(<900 N/mm²) – 0.4 mm/ 0.016” – 0.82 mm/0.032”  Strap width : 12.7 mm – 19.05 mm / 1⁄2” – 3⁄4"
