Welcome to the Pneumatic Power Tools & Co (PPT) Website, where you will find information regarding our mission and our activities.
Our mission is to provide world class products at competitive cost.
In course of last 30 years the company emerged as one of the leading manufacturer of Strapping tools, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Cutters in the Indian market. We have four manufacturing factories operating based of our Kolkata, India location employing more
than 200 people to meet our customer needs. Along with our manufacturing division we also have our own research and development division, which focuses on continuous quality improvement of existing products and new innovations to keep pace with the requirements of the modern industries. Our strong research and development wing have been developing and testing new products every year, which (on successful completion of the tests) are then manufactured on a commercial basis. All our factories are equipped with different state of the art machines which manufactures custom made precise and quality components for different customers. We already have a strong client base in India and we aim to
do for the North America market.

Our Timeline of Achievements:
- 1975 - Mr. A.B. Dutta a fresh mechanical engineer starts a company in the name of Pneumatic Power Tools & Company in a small plot of land in Howrah known as Sheffield of India.
- 1980 - Develops pneumatic tensioner and pneumatic
sealer for the steel mills.
- 1985 - Starts the second factory in Howrah to manufacture full range of manual strapping tools.
- 1990 - To meet the increasing demand of PPT products starts the third factory in Howrah to manufacture combination tools
- 1996 - The fourth factory was built. It is a three storied building in the ground floor we have battery of CNC machines. On the other floors we have the quality control testing and design departments.
- 2000 - Start exporting cutters to Germany.
- 2004 - Start exporting strapping tools to Canada
- 2013 - Start PPTUSA in Houston, TX USA.
